Book Review 2-12 NARNIA

I read “NARNIA”. When I went to a high school, I watched a movie with my friend. We really enjoyed watching the movie.
This book was too short so I did not enjoy. This was boring. This book introduced four children. Lucy was a youngest girl of the four. She was a brave girl and she found NARNIA in a wardrobe. She talked about NARNIA to her brothers and sister. But they did not believe. Everyone thought that she dreamed. Lucy was good at making friends so she had friends in NARNIA. Edmund was a boy. I do not like him very much because he was foolish and he was a burden to others. Susan was an oldest sister and she thought everything cautiously. Peter was a oldest boy. He always helped his family and wanted to lead everyone. He had a strong sense of responsibility. They fight with a Witch and they won. They became kings and queen in NARNIA. Book Review 2-11 Mr. Putter and Tabby

I read Mr. Putter and Tabby Catch the cold
Mr. Putter and Tabby liked snow so they looked snow fall. Mr. Putter liked to read the funnies in the newspaper. One day, he forgot to take the newspaper. He came back with the newspaper and he worried about that he caught a cold because he was old. Tabby was very kind for him so she put his head and she kept his head warm. Mrs. Teaberry phoned him. Mrs. Teaberry was his friend and she lived near his house. She knew that he caught a cold and she wanted to go to look after him. But Mr. Putter said “You should not come to my house because you might get my cold.” So Mrs. Teaberry had a good idea. It was very nice. Zeke which was Mrs. Teaberry’s dog brought the thermos. There was soup inside in. Mr. Putter was very happy to see it. Tabby was happy because she liked soup. When he was a boy, he often caught cold. At that time he always read an adventure book. He remembered that thing. So he really wanted to read an adventure book and he made a request “I wanted to read an adventure book please bring it.” Just then Zeke brought the book. Then Mr. Putter, Tabby and Zeke read the book in the bed and they fall asleep.

Book Review 2-10 Mr. Putter and Tabby

I read Mr. Putter and Tabby Pour the Tea.
Mr. Putter lived alone so he always took care of flowers. One day he was tired of living alone and he wanted to buy a cat. I really like cats so I agree with him. Then he went out to buy a cat and he arrived at a pet shop. But there were only kitten. He wanted to have a cat so he asked a shop assistant at the pet shop. She recommended going to a shelter. He found three cats in the shelter and he really liked a yellow cat because the yellow cat was very old and thin hair. He brought this cat to his house and he named Tabby. Tabby was a lady. She liked tulips which were made by Mr. Putter. And she liked to bask in the sun. He got along with her and they liked to take a nap. Mr. Putter and Tabby wanted to live together.
This story was very good so I like this story. This is a heartwarming story. (177)

Book Review 2-9 stories of unicorns

I read “stories of unicorns”. Do you believe a unicorn? I don’t think that there are unicorn in the earth. But unicorn’s image is very romantic and dreamy.
I like “Ellie and The unicorn” in this book. The king was very arrogance person and he was a greedy king. Ellie was a housemaid. She got along with a unicorn because she was very kind and gentle. The unicorn was too shy so he could not appear in front of people.
The unicorn was caught by this king but Ellie was so clever and she had a nice idea. She made a big noise in a kitchen in the dead of night. Many retainers went to the kitchen to look while the king was very surprised to hear the noise and he was frightened. During this time, Ellie ran away with the unicorn and she wanted to set this unicorn free. This was very good story. (155)

Book Review 2-8

I read “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. This story is very famous and I have read before.
The emperor was interested in clothes and he really like clothes. His Boris didn’t know what to do with the Emperor. The Emperor wanted to get new clothes so his Boris looked for clothes maker and Slimus and Slick appeared. They made a transparent dress. Clever person could see this dress so everyone said “I could see. Amazing and wonderful dress!!”
The emperor was a vain person and his Boris was not honesty so they made a fool. It was a very interesting story. There was an innocent boy then the boy said the truth.
By the way, can people make a transparent dress? If I get the dress, I never put on ha-ha-ha. (130)

I read “Tales of Amanda Pig”. I like Amanda recently, so I chose this book. Amanda is pretty. I like “Sleeping Time” story. It was time to go to bed but Amanda was not sleepy. However Mother was very sleepy. So Amanda changed Mother and Mother changed a little girl. So Amanda said “Would you want to listen to a story?” Mother said “Yes!” Amanda told a very shot story for Mother then Amanda said “Do you like song?” Mother said “Yes” So Amanda sang a lullaby. Just then Mother slept in Amanda’s bed. The room was very quiet so Amanda waked Mother up and said “You were a mother. I was a little girl.” Then Amanda fall asleep. Amanda was a cute so I like her. I read “Amanda Pig and the Awful, Scary Monster”. Amanda was a little pig so she was afraid of a monster. When she fell asleep, she was frightened. So her mother, her father and Oliver who was a brother checked Amanda’s room. They confirm that there was no monster. But Amanda was timid and called her family or went out her room. One day, her mother said “You were a big girl, you were almost grown up.” Her mother’s words encouraged Amanda. The night, she felt that an atmosphere of a monster. She was surprised. She told herself she was a big and grown up and she became to have brave. So she looked over her room and there was no monster. Then she went to bed. This story was very cute. I really understood Oliver’s feeling. I am easily frightened so I can’t sleep in a dark room. I’m 20 years old ha-ha-ha. (154)

Book Review 2-5

I read “Three by the sea”. It was very nice and so interesting. I don’t know that Lolly was a girl. I thought that Lolly was a boy.
Lolly’s story was boring story. So Sam and Spider were staring another story. I like Sam’s story. There were a rat and cat. The rat wanted to buy a cat, but an owner asked the rat “Are you sure you want a cat?” Of course everyone was surprised. Then the rat bought the cat. The rat got along with this cat. The cat was very hungry and wanted to something to eat. But the cat didn’t say what the cat wanted to eat. I thought that the cat eat this the rat. Then they went to a beach. To tell the truth, the cat wanted to eat cheese ha-ha-ha. I really like this story. (142)

Book Review 2-4

I read THREE UP A TREE. This cover is very cute. A boy who wears a border shirt is Sam. Spider put a green shorts, he is a hard worker. A sharpy boy is Lolly, he wear nice glasses.
Lolly’s story is good: A cute doll and a chicken walked in a forest then they got them way. So they were very afraid oh everything. And a monster was at a corner and spoke to. The doll and the chicken were very surprised and they ran away. They climbed a tree. Woo!! The monster was near the tree and he stared to climb. They were in a terrible pinch!! At last the monster finished climbing. The story ends with an unexpected humorous twist. The monster wants she ties monster’s shoes ha-ha-ha. This story is very nice and sweet, so Spider and Sam said so-so.
Spider’s story is awesome: A chicken took a bus but this bus went to a foxy’s town. So the chicken had mistakes. That’s too bad. Fox likes chicken so his life was in danger. When the chicken waited a bus, a fox that could not see very well come. No (>_<) the chicken concealed his face by wearing his hat. The fox sit next to the chicken. The fox thought this was a fox and this fox had a chicken. So the fox stole chicken’s bag and the bad had no chickens but chicken’s favorite food yay!!
Sam’s story is great: Sam is clever, I thought. A monster waked up and he wanted to eat a lot of ice cream. So he went to a town and he stood a corner. Then a fox was coming and so the monster “Excuse me.” But the fox was astonished and ran away. The fox forgot many things-a hat, glasses, and a scarf. The monster wore these things. Just then A doll and a chicken walked. The monster said “Hello. Please tell me where an ice cream shop is?” The chicken said “Yes!! So, can we ride on your wagon?” So they went to an ice cream shop. The chicken said “Please just monuments. We bought many ice creams in this shop.OK?” To tell the truth, this is a bank so the chicken and the doll were bank robbery. But the monster didn’t know about them. Then the chicken and the doll came back and they said “Hey you! Ice creams will melt so please run.” So the monster shot past. They arrived at a tree. And they opened a bag. The monster was surprised. “No, you must return money.” He was very angry so the chicken and the doll escaped. The monster returned money and he got a reward. The monster got a lot of ice creams. The story is wonderful. I like this story because a chicken and a doll were bad person and a monster is good person. It is very interesting. (486) (4763)

I read SMALL PIG. When I was an elementary school, I read this book and draw a picture.
The small pig likes to eat and sleep. The small pig loves a soft mud so the small pig enjoys sinking down. The owner love the small pig and they are very kind and the small pig loves them very much. One day, the farmer’s wife stars to clean them house. Then she wants to clean the small pig’s pen. She cleans the small pig’s house and she washes the small pig. The pig is wore a blue ribbon by her so the small pig is very cute and beautiful. But the small pig misses the mud, the small pig is so angry and the pig decides to go out the house. The pig goes to anywhere. The pig trudges along for little then the pig finds a swamp. The pig is really happy and sits down. The pig feels so good. But the pig can not sleep because there are many animals. They interrupt the pig’s sleep. The pig starts to walk to find good places. The pig finds junk yard with a lot of garbage. The pig has a good time there but the pig feels somehow dissatisfied. And the pig goes to the downtown then the pig finds a nice mud. The pig is glad to find and the pig dive into this mud. The pig is very happy but the pig can not move. Why? This mud is cement. A few people come to see this situation. At last many people stop and watch the small pig. The farmer and his wife come along just then. They are very surprised and they want to help the pig. Finally the pig is rescued. Then they come back the house and there is a big mud.

I read Snow White and Seven Dwarfs. There was a young Queen in a country. She wanted to have a child. She wanted to be baby with white skin, red lips and black-haired. Her dream came true. The King was very happy but the young Queen died in childbirth. So he was very sad and he thought that the baby needed to be a new mother. Then he married again. The new mother is very ill natured and spiteful. And she always asks to the magical mirror. “Who is the most beautiful woman in the world?” The magical mirror said to her “Of course you!! You are very beautiful and great.” Then she feels so good. But one day, she asked the mirror same question. The mirror answered “Snow White is very beautiful and so cute.” The Queen was very angry to hear that. She called a hunter to come and ordered to kill Snow White. He could not defy. Next day he went to a forest with Snow white. “Where will we do?” Snow White asked. He answered “I must kill you. It is a command from the Queen.” Snow White was very sad and started to cry. “Please help me and overlook.” The hunter allowed going and he brought a heart of pig to the castle. Snow White ran away. Then she found a little and cute house. She decided to enter the house. There were 7 chairs and small table. Of course chairs were very small. She was very hungry so she ate bread and drank milk from all of mugs. Then she felt sleepy and lay on her side.
Seven Dwarfs worked. Then they came back their house. They noticed anyone was in the house. And they found a beautiful girl. They were very kind so they did not wake her. Next morning Snow White got up. She was very surprised and apologized. Then she talked about the Queen. They were really kind “You can stay here.” Snow White was very happy.
The Queen was happy to hear Snow White was done. She asked the magical mirror “Who is the most beautiful woman?” The mirror answered “Snow White.” She was very angry and she wanted to kill Snow White by her self. She thought of the way of killing. The Queen changed a dress. She became a salesman who had a lot of ribbons. Then she went to the house. Snow White opened the door and watched these ribbons. “How beautiful!” she said. The salesman pulled it tight. So Snow White fell flat on her back. 7 dwarfs were surprised to see the situation and they cut the ribbon. She waked up.
The Queen came back the castle and asked the magical mirror. The mirror said “Snow White is still in forest.” She made a comb with poison. And she went to the house. When Snow White opened the door, the queen pierced the comb to Snow white’s hair. The she lost consciousness. Also 7 dwarfs rescued her.
The Queen thought that Snow white dead and she asked the mirror. The mirror said “Snow White is in the forest.” The Queen was really angry and made a magic apple. The apple had a poison. The Queen went to the house and “please eat this apple. The apple is very delicious.” Snow white ate the apple and she toppled over. 7dwarfs wanted to rescue but they didn’t how to do. Everyone thought that she dead. And they put her in a coffin made of glass. They were very sad and cried. The prince visited the house by chance and watched Snow White. “How beautiful she was!” he thought. He fall in love and he kissed Snow White. Then she waked up!! Everyone was surprise. I read Marie Antoinette. Of course everyone knows her. Do you think that she is an evil? Most people don’t like her. She was a wasteful person and she knew nothing of the real life. Yep I think so, too. But she was a poor girl.
Her real name was Maria Antonia Josepha Johanna von Habsburg Lothringen. How ling!! She leaded a free and uninhibited life and got along with sisters. Her family loved each other. So, they enjoyed watching ballet and opera. A lot of musician came from all over Europe. Austrian royal family liked music and they looked forward to coming musician. One day a little boy arrived. His name was Mozart and he was 6 years old. Antoine and her sister stifled a giggle. They didn’t believe he was a great pianist. But Mozart played the piano very well so everyone was surprised. Antoine‘s sisters got married to the king or the prince in another countries. They were political marriages. Her mother, Maria Theresia was very clever. She worried about Austria. When Antoine passed everyday life, her mother paid a lot of attention for her. “You must sort your teeth. Your teeth are crooked” “You must set your hair very well.” Antoine didn’t understand why Maria Theresia said. Maria Theresia “You are a girl, so you must do elegantly and cute every often. She was disgusted mother’s sermon and roles. She knew that her engagement finally. She was very sad and worried about everything. And she was not good at speaking French and French manners. Then she studied about French very hard. When she was 14 years old, she got married to Louis in Versailles palace. It was very nice. The party was splendid and amazing. But she was not happy. Because her husband was very shy and her sisters in low were not good people. Her life at Versailles was rigid customary practices for her. Her life was opened. So everyone could watch her life. She was tired out. So she wanted to get rid of her stress. She had gone to the masked ball and dancing all night. Everyone was talking that she had an affair with the count. It was true? I don’t know but she must be lonely. When Antoine went to Paris with Louis, she attended to state affairs. But she did not know about the real poverty and misery. Incompatibility of hobbies was bad for them. However they were a married couple. So they became a nice couple. And she was blessed with children. France had financial difficulties. People who lived in Paris suffered their lives. Most people had no money and could not eat enough meals. “Everyone had no bread? I recommended eating cakes to people in Paris!!” It was very famous story about Antoine. The story was not true. But she didn’t know anxiety about a people. Finally, a revolution broke out. Antoine, Louis and children were caught by a revolutionary people. It was very sad for Antoine and her family. They planed to escape to another place. However they were shuttled in a prison. The judge sentenced Louis to death. He went to the guillotine. And Antoine went to the guillotine, too. The day a death sentence, she was tied fast with a rope. When she stepped on an executioner’s foot, she said “I was very sorry. I did not it. But my foot was clean.” It was her last word. She was very bad person? How do you think? Her gossip was exaggerated and concocted. Poor thing!! But she is loved by a man of today now. Why? Everyone is fascinated by her life, I think so. (610) (1420)

Everyone knows this story. Girls like especially the book. Cinderella is most famous story, I think. Cinderella is very poor but she is very kind for everyone. Her stepmother and her stepsister are very spiteful. They do something spiteful to her.
One day Dance party was held in the castle. Cinderella wanted to go with her stepmother and stepsister. But they did not allow Cinderella went to the dance party. So, she was very sad and unhappy. Then godmother felicity appeared suddenly. She was very surprised. Godmother felicity instructed Cinderella: bring a pumpkin, get mice and a rat. Cinderella followed her ideas. The pumpkin changed a beautiful and nice coach. Mice changed white horses. The rat changed a coachman. Cinderella was very happy. Godmother felicity said to her “You must come back midnight.”
Cinderella went to the castle. The prince looked her. And they danced for a long time. At that time bell rang. Cinderella was hurry up and ran. The prince did not know the name. The prince looked over the beautiful girl. The only clue to her whereabouts was the glass slipper. A lot of retainer of the prince looked for the girl. A girl will fit the shoe is the beautiful girl. So, stepsister tied to put the shoe but they could not put this. Then Cinderella tried to put. She will fit the glass slipper. “To tell the true, I am a prince.” a retainer. “Can you marry me?” he asked. “Of cause!” she answered. They get along with for a long time.

I read “Elmo Says ACHOO!”
I like Elmo very much. So, I have stuffed toys. My friend gave me these. Elmo is so cute and pretty.
Elmo has a special present to Oscar. What is that? Everyone doesn’t know. Elmo keeps sniffling. A lot of clothes are airing in the sum. “ACHOO!” Elmo sneezes. Then they fall in the ground. Bert is piling up many cans on the floor. Elmo passes by Bert. “ACHOO!” Elmo sneezes. All cans fall down. Bert is struck speechless with astonishment. Elmo walks the street. Then Elmo sees a man. Perhaps, everyone knows Leonardo DiCaprio. He is Hollywood star. I love him very much. When I watched TITANIC, I thought that hi is very cool.
I read this book. Then I was able to know about him. When he was a child, he lived in Hollywood. I think he got a wonderful opportunity. And his brother was an actor. So, he wanted to be an actor.
He leaped into fame as a movie star with Romeo and Juliet. It was made by William Shakespeare. I have watched the movie. I was impressed and I was moved to tears. But, he wanted to act, at first. Because he thought that Romeo and Juliet was very old story. But he knew this story was arranged for young people. So, he was O.K to play the role.
TITANIC is an obvious masterpiece. This film won 11 Oscars. It is marvelous and amazing. Most girls loved him.
This book said that “A lot of girls want to be his Juliet!”, I think so too. If anything, I want to be his Juliet. (178)(7448)

ALICE Book review1-12

I read ALICE IN WONDERLAND. It took for 4days to read. It is hard for me to read it. This book was written by small hand wring. But I know the story about ALICE yet. So, I enjoyed. The story which I know soldiers of cards don’t speak. They sing a song “Let’s paint white rose to red rose!!” But in this story, they only talked. That’s so sad. Queen and King have no child, I knew. And Queen is very fatty, king is small. This book does not have such as sentences.
I love ALICE very much. I have a classic collectible pop-up. My friend gave me. I was very happy.(112)(6688)

Frog and Toad 1-11

I read "Frog and Toad-All Year". I like " the corner". The story is looking for spring. When Frog was small, his father said to Frog "Spring will come soon". So, he searched for spring. Frog walked down a path in the forest. But he couled not find the spring. There were a pine tree, three pebbles and some dry grass. Frog advanced in the field. Frog saw an old worm asleep on a tree stump. Frog was not able to look for spring. Frog was disappointed, so Frog decided to go back home. Two birds on the tree were singing the song. Frog's mother and father waved their hands to Frog and smiling. A lot of flowers were in the garden. At last, Frog found spring. Then, Frog and Toad went out to find spring.(136)

Book Review1-10

I watched this illustrations of Frog and Toad Together, when I was an elementary schoolchild. I looked back on this book with nostalgia. There are 5 stories in this book. They are very interesting and cute. I especially like "A List".
Frog get along very well with Toad. They lead an easy life. One day, Toad get up in the morning. Toad decided to make a list. Toad wrote "A List of things to do today". Then, he thought what to do from now. Toad jotted down points on a paper. Eat Breakfast, Get Dressed, Go to Frog's House, Take walk with Frog, Eat lunch, Take nap, Play game with Frog, Eat Supper, Go to Sleep. After he ate breakfast, he crossed out"Eat Breakfast". When Toad went to Frog's house, Toad showed the list. And they followed the list. They took walk together. All the time the wind blew the list off. They were surprised. Toad was terribly distressed what to do next. After a long time "We should be going to sleep", Frog muttered. That reminded Toad. Toad remembered what to do. Toad wrote" Go to Sleep" on the ground with a stick. Toad also crossed out. They felt very good,so they finished all things. Then they soon fell asleep.(213)

I read The Tempest which was written by William Shakespeare. If I remember correctly, I watched the video during British cultural history class. So, I can read smoothly. But there is the difference between book and video. A magic sprit in video is man. A magical sprit in book is girl. Her name is Ariel.I like the scene that Ferdinand met Miranda, especially in the story. Ariel's song conducts Fredinand to Miranda. It is stratagem by Prospero who is the real Duke of Milan, magician and Miranda's encounter. I am apt to romanticize everything. Prospero drove Caliban. He is a monster. He thought that he was very poor and miserable. But he got free Prospero. Then he was allowed to master.Shakespeare described a lot of desires of characters, I think. I have not read a book written by Shakespeare, so I want to read these.(147)
